As some of you know, I am in Egypt with the kids. I am leaving to Germany to meet SIL and BIL on Friday. H sent me a text tonight 'suggesting' and 'recommending' that the kids and I stay in a hotel close to the airport tomorrow night to make our trip to the airport smooth on Friday morning.

I assume he is suggesting this because of the revolution that just happened (yeah!), although the protests are now over, and/or because the ride to the airport is long (although our flight is in the afternoon and we wont be rushed in the morning). Whatever the reason I am sure his intentions are kind and coming from a place of concern. He has never suggested it before when we travelled from Cairo to Germany in the past.

Anyway...I didnt answer. There was no question asked. And I felt it breaks my NC. Am I still on the right path, or should I have responded with a 'thanks for the suggestion' type thing.
