morning coffee again and a great positive

C just called me - Seems that she was baby sitting the grandkids last night and thought that it was such a nice day that it would be nice to take them to the zoo. Knowing that I had passes for two adults she wanted to know if I wanted to go with her and the kids. (well let me think......YES) so I have to get dressed and shower (not in that order) and get on over to her house -

yea yea

Well I had a great day today - A long way from what I would have liked it to be but that just gives me more to aim for.

I met C and the 2 Grandkids in the parking lot of a pet smart on the way to the zoo and left my car. We drove down to the zoo and stayed almost 3 hours - looked at all the animals and let the kids ride the train and carousel then let them play in the play yard while we sat and watched.

We then went to eat at The Varsity and had some chilli dogs before taking the kids back to their mom and dad. We then went back to my car and I followed her home to do my payroll checks. When we got home she said she was a little tired and wanted to just sit for a few minutes before doing anything so we just sat and chit chatted for a few.

It was getting close to dinner time and she asked me if I wanted something to eat. She fixed some leftover port roast and rice. While we ate we started watching Seabisket. A good movie about second chances - I hope she took that to heart. She said I would like a movie called “second place lion?” I never heard of it but she said she would watch it again with me.

We then went down stairs to the computer to print up my checks. While she was doing that I downloaded all the pictures from my digital camera from today’s trip onto her other computer so she could have digital copies of them.

As it was getting late I started getting ready to go. I was hesitant to really hug her but she gave me a good hug. No real kiss other than a little peck but a really good hug. She asked me if I was too tired to drive home and I asked her if that was an invitation to stay, but then I told her that I could make it ok.

As usual she asked me to give her a call when I got home. When I did she told me that she had a great time today and thanked me for going with them. She was concerned about me and my feelings. Right after she told me of OM I stated that I had felt used. She told me tonight that she did not want me to go simply to help with the kids and because I had a pass but that she wanted to see me and to be with me. I again thanked her for asking me and said that that statement met a lot to me. We wished each other a good night and sweet dreams.

I did notice a few things when I was there. The label she made for the coffee pot that said "I love you, Darling" was still stuck to the top of the coffee pot. the bag of tea from the bed and breakfast [the one that she said made her decide to go with me a couple of months ago] is still by the coffee pot where she sees it every morning. And the coffee cup that she was using on her office desk is the offee cup that was given to me at my convention last year. The same convention that she is trying to decide if she wants to go with me this year to Boston. She has plenty of coffee cups but she is drinking coffee at her desk out of that one. I don't know - maybe I am trying to read too much into it but then again I will keep acting as if and expect the worst and hope for the best. I still have over 5 weeks till the convention.

Morning coffee and positives

1. C initiated an IM yesterday morning - IM'ed for about 20 mins.

2. C initiated an IM yesterday afternoon - IM'e dor about 40 mintues

3. I had great memories from Sunday zoo trip, lunch dinner and the dvd and doing my payroll checks. I am still encouraged by seeing her use the coffee cup from my convention last year. I told her this year that instead of flying I was going to take a day off on each side of the convention and drive and stop by the twin towers memorial (she has told me that she wanted to go there herself)

Morning pam and all - morning coffee

Positives from yesterday - no contact at all from C but I still feel like things are better that they were at the first of the month. She told me last weekend that she was planning to work out with me again tonight so I am looking forward to seeing her.

While PMA could be alot better it is far from down in the dumps, and It will be a great day
