hello labug and betsey, Thank you both for your input. Things have settled, still have those rushes, but I know they are normal. I just really miss being part of a team that is working toward a common goal, i.e. retiring, traveling the country, building a life together. Wondering if I will ever get my life back!

D@mn, that's the same feelings I have. I just got a copy of AZ Highways with a listing of great camping spots-almost cried.
But I'm thinking of getting my own little set-up and just going out on my own. Might not be until next summer, but that's OK it's something to look forward to.

That is what I miss the most too. A Friend saw my XH on a dating website yesterday. That didn't bother me a bit, which was wonderful for me, (it really made me realize how far I have come) but the plans we made that will never happen still hit me out of the blue.

Oh Doug! You will get find what you need, want desire. I'm not there yet. But every single divorced and now remarried person I meet tells me that. When I went to Kauai for that one day vacation I meet a cute older couple on the beach. And the gal said she was happier now than she had been in her first marriage. And I realized she was about the 100th person who has told me that.
Well they can't all be making that up, right?!?
