Then to top it off, I was one of several people who received an award today. I had to get up in front of everyone to accept.

I wanted to share something my sister said to me. She's been M almost 30 years and had some rough years. During periods without intimacy or emotional closeness, she would tell herself, "no matter what happens during the day -- fill in the blank -- he is coming home to ME.".
She would console herself with that fact and it got her through some pretty rough times.
Hang in there tvs! You'll look in the mirror tonight and know you were true to yourself and stood for your integrity and your family when the going got rough!
