She texted me:

"So per you... what makes us not ready."

I had said "we are not ready to be together right now, I get that"

J, let me ask you something. Why is it that you are she are texting about the two of you?

You really need to give her space and you need to get some space in order to work on you.

So, what do you mean should you tell her the truth?

Here.

W: So how do I know when the teasing and playing is ok with you?

M: I guess we each nee to let each other know if it isnt a good time and not take it personally. I don't know when it is ok with you either W.

W: That is why I asked. U didnt seem to want to the other night so I didnt know no where you stand with things.

M: I do enjoy the teasing and playing. There are times I have fears and just need to not.

W: What do you mean fears.

M: About us, about you.

W: Like?

M: Like where we are at.

W: I am going to go lay down for a little while before I have to go into work. Sorry that I can't give you everything that you want now JP. I feel bad that I have hurt you so deeply.

M: I 'm not asking for that W. We are not ready to be together right now, I get that. I have fears as do you.

W: OK

2 hours later

W: So Per you what makes us not ready.

Just now

W: Nvm.

I know and I keep on trying to explain when she asked, over explain.

I just don't want to not answer her, I am scared that it will come across really negative, as I would not communicate about us at all pre BD. Like a 180 for me, yet I know... It is hard.

I feel like she is reaching out and I should try to answer her...

ok, so, let's figure out what you want to say and the best way to say it.

What is it that you are thinking you want to say?

That we are not able to communicate with each other in a healthy way.

That I need more time to work on me. (that makes me feel bad like I am saying you can't come home because "I" am not ready)

That she is not wanting to come home for the right reasons, she is not ready. (I wont say this as I know it isnt my place)

Ok, I just read the texts. J, she is confused. As I said, you are both co-dependent in my opinion.

She wanted out, but, clearly when she feels you pulling away, she panicks.

This is tough for you. I can see why.

I do not think there is anything wrong with saying this.

That I need more time to work on me. (that makes me feel bad like I am saying you can't come home because "I" am not ready)

And you ARE not ready. Why would that make you feel bad to say it?

She asked for this, J. And if she comes home, there will not trouble in the not too distant future, that is for sure.

That she is not wanting to come home for the right reasons, she is not ready. (I wont say this as I know it isnt my place)

Did she ask to come home?
