PON, It doesn't matter if she talking R talk or just chatting about life and day-to-day activities. One of the hardest things to do is listen when you are a someone who talks. I know...I was one too. Sometimes they just want to think out loud or just talk and don't want someone to always respond back or give them advice. You'll see what I'm talking about as you go along.
Actually, it's not odd at all that she gets up and goes to bet w/o a word. My xh was like that as well. They are so focused on themselves and the outside world just doesn't fit into their equation right now.
