DBing, GALing and living oh my!

Met with wise man this morning for breakfast. He likes were I am at emotionally and the boundaries I have put up. It's funny now because she comes to me. Like yesterday I was playing with son for about an hour at her moms. Was friendly with hi and just neighborly. When I went to leave she follows me outside and begins to talk. Which was fine because she was talking about son, but then she went into how she hopes she can ride this weekend. I said, I'm not watching son, don't even ask. Her reply, "what, you're going to busy with you new friends"
I just said I don't know what I'm doing, but I've told you I'm not watching son on your weekends so you can show horses.
It's so much easier to do this now and I don't know why.
I did tell wise man that I'm glad he came into my life.
That advice he gave me in January has become very valuable now.
Because I do feel like I have changed a lot and she hasn't changed at all which is making me almost want to just walk away. But that would be selfish. She put up with the worst of me for 2 years.
