Sounds like things are moving positively. I am sure Mom is also worried about you, like we all worry about our kids...she just doesn't want to see you hurt.
Although I agree with Bug and wonder about the economic part, I also think that any starting place is a starting place. It's how you proceed from there that makes the difference..
