On the verge of sounding like a hypocrite (as I do this too) - why? Is there anything specific? Kind of sounds like you're telling yourself that you are doing this for you, but when she didnt comment (she may have noticed but didnt comment) it brought you down.

I do that crap too.

Just enjoy your time with your son and put her out of your mind - your mood will improve shortly. One thing that may help, if any female flirted with you in any way (you know what I mean guys overread that stuff) just think about that for a min or 2. It may help lift your PMA. Dont let her set your PMA - set it for yourself.
