You know I'm the last person to be giving you advice but I do think that they tell us to date to take guilt off of themselves. Remember, just b/c she is telling you to date does not mean she wants you to. It is almost like us when we are acting "as if." I was upbeat in front of my H but that was NOT at all what I was really feeling.
