No I was never into motorcycle racing (she was) - and she just stopped going once we got together - I didn't ask her too or anything - she just stopped.

Maybe you were that interesting she didn't feel the need.
Maybe OM isn't as interesting as you were so she needs something else to do.

That's a nice way to look at it, and I do appreciate it - but I think it's safer to say they have a deep, common interest that they share together - one which I never did with my Wife.

That might be true ^^^, but of course the flip side to that coun is that they don't have anything else in common so sharing this interest is a substitute for actually having to....y'know...talk... smile

Have you ever seen one of those shows about people who go to comics conventions or record sales or whatever, and then they talk to the (let's face it) disinterested W's? They always say the same thing: I'm not into it but H is and at least it gets us out of the house, lol. God forbid they would have to have actual human interaction with each other!

Thanks Papa4Life - this could very well be true, but at the moment I just feel they have this unique bond. Time will tell I guess.

Also menat to say that apparently my Son asked W if she had a boyfriend. "No of course not" she told him. Ha! Can't even be honest with her own Son.

Been thinking about my wife's relationship with OM - what if they really are in love and the real deal? Perhaps the longer I keep any hope alive the longer I am delaying the inevitable?

I haven't read much of your sitch Intact but it's quite obvious from what i have read today that you are feeling down and very negative. It's totally understandable, this is really hard stuff.
Your not going to do yourself or your sitch any favours at all by acting like this. The inevitable can be whatever you set your sights on right now. it's not over until you decide it is.
Stop thinking about bike racing and think about you.

What have you been doing to GAL yesterday and today? What are your 180's? What are your short term goals?

One question I read on here quite a bit on old sitch's:
"Is this the hill you want to die on?"

I have this on my massive list of things to read when I felt down, it always made me realize that I wasn't done.
Is this your hill?
You giving up now?
If not change something today, make a goal for you and do it.

What if, is a long dark and twisted trail that leads down fast and there is nothing good at the end. I know, I have been there.

Focus on what makes you stronger.

I know where your at in your mind and I know it is hard to get away from it, yet you have to, it will make you crazy.

So, what will you do tonight that you enjoy, just for you?
