Traveling separately to an event to watch S race. H has booked a hotel. Just thought we would stay same room with D. We have done this before. now I think I should get my own room. He makes to attempt at conversation.

willbwell, IMO I would think having your own hotel room would be the best option, and sharing with the D. As long as it is affordable for you.

I had same dilemma and ended up very relieved to have my own space to retreat to. If asked i was prepared to say h we're separated and need to act like it. It is too confusing for me and the kids to have us sharing a bedroom right now. But he didnt ask why when i told him id be getting a separate room.
I dont know that youre in a place where tempting him with your proximity and sexy outfit will not backfire and make you feel bad. I found it very painful how immune to me my h acted, and he said enough times how important it was to him not to raise my expectations. So based on what i learned i wd say guard your dignity and feelings and give him more space than hes asking for so he has some room to pursue you if he is inclined

I booked my own room. H wont care. He is immune to me too. At the house, h just comes when he pleases. I've allowed that for the kids. Its painful for me. I miss him. My self esteem is still shaken.

Some days I just can't wrap my head around it. I don't get how my H can justify what he is doing. The kids and I don't want this. Why does he think what he is doing is ok? Pardon my rambling... I think he knows we don't want this. He will say sorry, but he doesn't want to take any steps to become involved in our family again. He is even doing less around the house now. He only wants to do his job and be left alone. I want to ask him... just don't get it. We are coming up on 1 year since the light switch went off for me- Our anniversary. Will make plans for myself...
