I hate to be negative. But it sounds like she wanted a R with this guy but settled for the FWB arrangement because that was the best she could get from him. Then when things hit a rough patch with you guys, she reached out to him, hoping he would be willing to move beyond FWB (we always romanticize the ones that got away). But if she's posting sad songs on FB it might mean the bloom is off the rose with this OM and maybe regretting trying to get back together with him.
If so, that means you've really got to start focussing on yourself and letting her wonder if you've really moved on. But don't tell her in words. Show her with your actions! Remember that the whole wanting what you can't have works for you as well. If she believes you're moving on, it might compel her to start pursuing you.
Play it cool and follow sandi's advice. She's as close to being an expert on this as anybody on this board.
