DM45, Both of my D's are seeing a therapist. My oldest was hesitant to go, as she thought she could deal with issues herself. We asked her if she would give it a chance and go to a could sessions and see how she felt after that. She agreed and decided it wasn't so bad and has been going for over a year now. I would try to get your son to go once and let the T know he is resistant. He needs a third party to listen to him and a safe place to talk.
