Question.
What if W sees that I am doing better and GAL and 180's but attributes that to me having to step up when she is gone or that I am better when she isn't there. Nothing I can do about that, right?

Hopefully she is watching and acknowledging nothing openly right now BECAUSE THIS IS FOR YOU!!!! YOU DONT CARE ABOUT HER APPROVAL AT THIS TIME

If you want to cook- gosh darn it you cook !

ALSO, cooking is a great way to get your daughters involved and vested in the dishes you make - you need a sous chef smile

JP, you have to let that thought process go brother. Relax a little okay... Your gonna be fine, everything will work the way it's gonna work out. You cannot play Chess with her mind, do this work for you and allow her the opportunity to work her issues out. I hope you really get that this work has to be for you and about you and you only. You are correct she will think what she wants to think so...

Hey JP,

What are your favorite things to cook? What did you do with all that chicken and fish?

The chicken were breast and I baked them in a sun dried tomato salad dressing, cut them up for fajitas, paninis, or just eating.
The fish is salmon and I eat that for lunch everyday, girls dont care for it. I just cooked it with some garlic salt.
I normally cook up 5 lbs of ground beef for tacos, spaghetti, w/e and some steaks like the chicken, but haven't yet.

I guess I like to try to cook things that are new to me and then meals that are big, that take timing to make it all come out at the same time.
I did a spiral cut ham, beans, corn, deviled eggs, twice baked potatoes, crescent rolls and a better than sex cake for Easter.

Just remembered it's May 1st, so happy May day. I will go pick up something small for D's.

As a fellow man who loves to cook I just have to say...........

Did we know about this talent of yours before? (I dont remember this in your thread)

Screw photography - COOK!!! smile

Heres why, it tastes great, its participative, it gives you great exposure (your off the computer and they all can see what your doing)...........and the chicks dig it!

Do you have Mark Bittmans "How to cook everything"?
If not- get it, used or paperback - its inexpensive and it will show you how to make amazing dishes at home.

What i really like about your last post is that while I can really cook- you can plan, multi-task and cook. All that cross=utilization of ingrediants...not many folks have that- Im jealous (I cant compile a grocery list for the week ahead and end up in the grocery store almost every other day)

You sir are a domestic diva!- Wear that title with pride

Im serious about the book.........

How do you know this and where can I find out how to get paid to take pics of food!
I do know that a lot of photography of food is done with part food and part non-food stuff that looks like food.

Wow....

I guess I hit on one of your passions huh ??

You are perky, like a Idaho housewife, stepping out of a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon's office....

Look around JP. Food photography is everywhere one looks...

You gotta get all of that dust off of the Camera first buddy....
