Don't know if she has filed.
Letter dated 4/26, 2 days before the interaction. I had actually spoken with her on the phone briefly about S16 yesterday, and she didn't even act like she knew I saw OM. Friendly, almost.

L has not returned call.

Letter:

Re: Our client, W

Please be advised that your W has retained the services of this firm with respect to the above-referenced matter. She and I have had a thorough discussion of the various issues that confront the two of you with respect to the situation and we believe that initial focus needs to be on reaching a mutual decision with respect t what arrangements are best for S16 at this time.

Your W and I further agree that it would be appropriate to engage the services off Mediator to assist in this regard. Tnat individual would not make decisions about what would be best for the family, but would be responsible for helping the two of you work toward an agreement yourselves. This is certainly preferential to a Judge, or some other third party, being placed in a position to have to make these sorts of decisions.

I would appreciate hearing from you sometime within the next 10 days so that we can hopefully move forward with this process. There are a number of well qualified Mediators in this area who have substantial Family Law experience and possess the qualifications necessary to work with us. Obviously, feel free to provide this letter to an attorney of your own choosing for a response.

I hope to herrera from you shortly so we can begin the process of working toward an amicable solution.

Sincerely,
L
