Depends on the AD and the patient...my W responded well to a couple, for a while (this is pre-BD/mlc). However, when she started effexor (via a pharmapsychologist) BOTH times (2009 and went off, then again in 2011) replay behavior started within 3-4 months.

I found a forum for spouses of people that had the exact same behavior seen in their spouses taking that AD, I had an opportunity to forward that to my W in 2012, within 4 months of her tapering off and then stopping and her OB switched her to wellbuterin, she started "warming up" to the family again...her OB said she'd NEVER prescribe effexor, just fyi.

Again, no doctors here, but monitor her behavior, and hopefully she would be open to knowing you are and any concerns you see. Try to have check-ins with the family and doctor to monitor how she responds.

The other thing that has REALLY helped W the past couple of months is over the counter herb med called estroven...the black kohesh root is long known herb for balancing/remedy for menopause/hormonal stuff, takes a month or so to kick in...just FYI...of course, I'm not not a doctor, so this is purely anecdotal evidence... smile
