As I reread the above...about the apology. For a long time my thought process with him has been, what he said was worse than what I said and he started it so I'll apologize when he apologizes. Pretty childish, huh?
What I now know is that he didn't really want to hurt me anymore than I wanted to hurt him. We were both reacting. I'm not in charge of his part, only mine.
