NG, I realised tonight that no one can save us except ourselves. This is what DB is about, isnt it? We grow up thinking that someone will come into our lives and save us from all the pain and turmoil in our lives but in reality it can only come from within ourselves.

We save ourselves and realize that we are good and worthy of love and we are lovable. and like Val said, anyone that enters our lives is an addition to the love and happiness we already have. We cant wait for it to happen.

I love your thought of fostering a child. It would be a very lucky child to have you in their lives.

thanks val. i feel very similarly to you, i think. i agree that it will come in the right time.. it is funny, this very sweet and cool woman moved in next door and she is from ireland. (my heritage on my mom's side.) she keeps telling me about her single lesbian friends.

so so true busting. i love what you said about saving ourselves. it is a much safer alternative isn't it, bc we can't leave thank you for your kind words about my idea of fostering. i have learned a lot about caring for children from how you and zig and others have put aside your own hurts to care for your children during your sitches. that is love.
