I am sure you will work this all out. I think everyone is right, this HAD to happen. That woman was going to drive you to a nut house or give you a stroke. I'm happy she is going to be out of your life. Those nurses love Ryan and they love you. I'm sure you will be ok.

Thanks. I did ok - slept a bit. Had to do my taxes with the accountant today. She actually gave me 4 suggestions for help. I talked to worker #2 who was only going to work till she finished school in June but she's onboard to stay with me till then Have a convention to attend in June - booked Ryan into respite for that just in case - covered my butt. Government coordinator went to bat for me. Coincidentally - we had just had our annual review with her yesterday morning. Most of the discussion was around "Catherine" - that evil woman. She found an agency today that could manage Ryan & hire my workers - I will be meeting with them next week. Crazy woman wants a case conference with me. Not happening! I'm so done with her. Josh thinks she is insane & I should not have to ever see her again. Oh - did I mention that she overcharged me $12,000 & I'm struggling with my accountant to get that back. I'm off to a artists weekend with friends. Probably a really good thing
Well - she emailed me at 7 AM demanding a meeting at the beginning of the week and even though she knows Josh is working in Toronto - he can join us by teleconference. Ummm... NO! She wants to discuss transitioning him. Umm - I've known for slightly more than a day. Not like I HAVE a plan...
I'm off to a 4 day convention. I will message her from my car that I'm off. No interest in a meeting before I have a plan. Will get back to her next week.
I agree with Kat - afterall, SHE WORKS FOR YOU not the other way around!! Thank goodness you won't have to deal with her much longer. She sounds like a controlling basketcase!
I just told her partner that a week ago after one of her stress attacks on me. I AM THE CLIENT - I DO NOT WORK FOR YOU!!!!
I just emailed her that I'm going out the door to my convention - not to be disturbed unless there is an emergency. I have not had time to digest what she told me never mind find a new option and when I had some time to figure things out - I'd let her know. (even that is giving her too much). I wanted to say "F OFF YOU BEYOTCH!!!" but I maintained control and integrity. DAMN
Barb, The next time that this witch demands a meeting, state this to her: "Well, I'll be happy to meet w/you when you have written that check for the $12,000 you over charged me." I bet she'll lay low.
Please do not allow her to get away w/the over charge, i.e., even if you have to have her charged w/fraud...she deserves every bit of grief that you can muster up. This woman has been nothing but a bully, controller and a manipulator to you. You and your family do not deserve this type of treatment, especially when you are the employer.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
I'm away this weekend & that's a good thing. The drama continues as I hear how she is harassing her own workers with questions about if they've talked to me etc. glad to be at a convention doing fun things with friends. Too bad the underlying horror & dreams won't go away
