Shiss...live today with me okay? Not tomorrow, just today wink

I maintain that paper does not have as much power as we do. While you may not be able to stop H from filing or serving, it does not stop you from DB or GAL or making your H see that he was a fool. It's a piece of paper, given weight by society and our own fears.

Pema Chodron has a lot to say on fear, you should read her stuff.

Thanks IO, can't help but jumping ahead to the future. It's a scary thought.

I let my lawyer know as a heads up that my husband said I will be getting papers this week. I am requesting conciliation with my husband to see if the marriage can be worked on. Is this a bad idea? I don't remember reading about it in DB/DR?

It depends on what kind of vibe you've been getting from him. Personally I don't think he's going to go with it and see it as a sign of pursuit or you "forcing" him to do something he doesn't want.

Take the paperwork and find out what your rights are from your own legal counsel. You don't have to immediately get the ball rolling for a D, but you should just find out what is best for you.
