Sure, other stuff, like driving by a restaurant, and suddenly turning around to try it out just because it looked good.
We'll be staying in a fancy lodge for MIL 75th birthday, but will probably improvise for other places. It is important that wife chooses also, as she has complained that it was always me organizing and planning our trips. I'll see if I can tilt the choice toward nicer places so her experience will be nicer.
