Thanks, GTO. Being willing to listen to and accept things I don't want to hear has been a major growth step for me.

Soooooo IRL,

I got a ticket for running a red light. And when it's all said and done, it'll come to $420.00! That's the fine and payment for a day in Traffic Survival School. Ouch!

We have photo enforcement here and it's me, plain as day at an intersection I pass through everyday. I must have been trying to get through on a yellow... I have become a very calm driver, not rushing, not pulling up in the intersection to wait on the green arrow when making a left turn, not getting POd at other drivers, so I'm not sure I'll learn anything from this expensive lesson. At least not about driving.

I've decided to look at it like this, in all the years I've been driving, I've had one accident (fender-bender, I was at fault) and no other tickets. So if I amortize the $420 over 40 years that's $10/yr.

That feels much better.
