Because the old S are the spouse we fell in love with and envisioned a life of happiness with. We had hopes and dreams that are very hard to let go of.
But I will say once I finally realized that no matter what I do, I can't control rather she changes and tries to be that person again, I can only control my thoughts and actions things began to be so much easier.

So true. I on one hand don't want to sign and hope she comes around. But realize these are her decisions! I cannot change her. I definitely feel like i've lost her. I emailed her a few days back about needing her to sign our local tax returns and She has credit cards she has left at the house. no response
