I don't believe Ot said to embrace the person...I believe, or at east I took it, as embrace the face that it is a relationship with another adult they will have.
No one ever said to invite their new spouse over for a game of monopoly. But the fact of the matter is, THEY did not betray you....your spouse did. If you are angry at them, (more so than your ex it appears for many of you, your anger is misplaced) THEY have no vow of fidelity to you.
they are not the OP...they are the wife or husband of your ex.
They are not the person that wrecked your marriage....that was you and your ex-spouse
the anger and blame that is spread everywhere is NOT healthy for kids....from either side
allowing the kids to love who they want and form relationships with important adults in their lives is key to healthy development.
