FWIW, I have never heard of a story like this on these boards that ends well. The online stuff is for introductions. I truly know of no cases in which when this period got extended, the individuals involved didn't feel hurt and disappointed. Even with quick meetings, I don't recall any online daters (myself included) who haven't had the experience of feeling like they really clicked with someone only to find the complete opposite in person.
Right now, you are making an investment of time and emotions in someone you don't know.
So, for your own sake, try to meet sooner rather than later. Much sooner. Like this weekend. Perhaps a hike in Idaho?
