Thanks labug...yes that's the ultimate goal for me, still have a lot of work to do. I still see the "old" me from time to time.

Wow, that is incredible. I hope to reach this level of detachment. Way to go!

Update: still practicing validation. Couple of nights ago W woke up 4:30 a.m. and started talking about us. Nothing major the usual WAW script, I put on my hurt armor from the things she spewed it still hurt to hear those things from the woman you love, you know the usual not in love, not attracted etc. I just listened.

Couple of things stood out she mentioned at least now we're getting the "honesty back from our marriage" and "our communication is improving". So I'm noting those down...no expectations she still on the fence but I do feel that wall is softening a bit.
