Any thoughts on Valentines Day? Wondering what you are thinking.
Every sitch is different. I know the popular sentiment on the board is to not get 'em anything, and for some, (many?, most?) I'd agree.
My wife has always been a gifter. Never missed a special day, and was crushed the few times that I did. So, I will get her a card commemorating the day, but no other gifts besides that.
She is still my Valentine, but since she is not interested in me "in that way", it will be a friendly or possibly even a humorous one. Nothing mushy, no hugs and kisses or true love forever stuff. That would turn her off.
It will be interesting to see if she gets me a card. Actually, I give it a 50/50 shot that she will... if only because she figures I'll get her one.
