Well, I think that went very well. I loved it actually. It turned out that "mom" wasn't there, she went to the first night it played. Anyway, my ex-step daughter played Margaret in "Much Ado About Nothing". It's been a while since we saw each other and it was so great to see her, she was beautiful. She eyed me a few times and smiled while on stage. When the lights went down on the last scene she literally ran down the stairs, began crying, and jumped into my arms...and just stood there, holding me for a good 5 minutes...ugh, really pulled at the heart strings and I loved holding her again...I am in a very awesome place right now...

That sounds like it was wonderful.

My thought on that is, make sure that no matter what, that moment and any R you have with your xSD, is only about you and her.

I couldn't agree more KD. That's one thing all three of us (mom, dad, and me) have done from the beginning. And by "beginning" I mean from the start of us getting together. No one gets in the way of the relationship we have with the daughter...

I'm having a hard time doing a search for a particular members' thread - NGU Never Give Up. The search just doesn't seem to work. Can someone help me out by either schooling me how to do it or providing a link to NGU's thread. I hear NGU went through a divorce and made it back together. I think I knew about it but it's been some time. Thx

I have been looking but I have not found any yet.
It is possible that the threads have been deleted(purged).

The method that I use is through the watched user list.
If you edit the users then it provides a search method for finding users here.

I have written this somewhere too but right this minute I cant remember where I put it.

I will keep looking for you.

I found it - the directions at least.

How to find a user on DB

Go up to
MY STUFF
Click on Watch List
Click on Watched Users
Click on Edit Watched Users
Click on Add a user to list
Type in user - "Never Give UP"
Select her as a watched user.
Click on her name
Click on show all posts.

Hope that helps.

Cadet, this is you: "There can always be HOPE as long as you choose. However you need to let go, if you ever want a chance."

You may have already said this to me, but remind me. I understand why there is always hope, but why do we need to let go if we want a chance?

It is to have no EXPECTATIONS.

And according to pursuit and distance to stop all pursuit.
Have you read in DR or DB about the see saw?
Letting go is about changing the direction of the see saw.

Also I hope you read through all those MLC homework lessons that I gave you in your first thread.
