I do GET IT. IMHO if you want to throw your own pity party that's your choice. OR you can go out and do something positive rather than thinking about what you don't or can't do.
How about going to visit a children's cancer ward. These kids are just fighting for their lives, yet you don't see them complaining. They revel in the things that they DO have and not what they don't. There are thousands of people worse off than you yet they pick themselves up and survive. You can do the same once you convince yourself that you can. Take a free class online or do meditation or just something.
You have your brain and full use of your limbs I'm assuming. What you do with them is up to you.
