When my husband left to spend to be with his daughter, I said to him " so you're putting your daughter before me" and he said "isn't that what you've always done ." I guess I always did but he never said anything before. He was always a workaholic and was never home so they had to have one parent. According to the experts yes your marriage comes first,which is hard when you have small children.
