Exactly, that's why you shouldn't expect others to do it. Many don't know how. To find your old threads do this:
Click on your name (next to any post), drag down and click on "view posts". Click on "topics created". That will show all the threads you've created. Click on a thread to go to it. Then copy the URL out of the bar at the top of the page and then paste it into your post here. When you submit your post it will automatically be converted to a link that others can click on to go to your thread.
To add a signature- click on "my stuff", then "edit profile". Go down and type your info into the "signature" box, then click "submit".
When you add a signature it will show up in all your posts, both new and old.
