But I will make up a little mantra for that and I will reframe it into something. Maybe when I see other peoples wedding bands I should think one word: NICE. And smile my yoga smile!

My ex used to wear his ring, but took it off for work (surgery) and surfing. So I really didn't notice at first when he started leaving it in the medicine cabinet and not putting it back on after his morning surf session. Who knows how long that was going on while I was clueless?
When we split and I stopped wearing my ring, I had a big dent in my finger that wouldn't go away. It took the longest time, but it's gone now!
I find I don't envy people with wedding rings though - instead I find myself wondering what secrets lurk behind closed doors in THEIR marriages. Sad, huh?
