Ruby - well it's nearing 12 pm now where you are. I hope you had a wonderful morning with the kids. In the end, that's what it's all about. You live for the kids.

I have to agree, you sound stronger. It is amazing how we all eventually get to this place, even though at the beginning we think we are going to literally curl up and die. But we do it, day by day.

Hard to have no expectations. I know I was a little disappointed this morning too... my boys came downstairs and said "Mom didn't get anything in her stocking!" Of course, I wasn't expecting anything, but it didn't make it any less painful. Last year my H put an iPod touch in there and then said, "Oh that's not for you. It's for the house." Still stings... But anyway, Wednesday is another day, right?
