Hi rubytuesday, She is amazing. W is being very angry and we had it out last night. I had tried to talk to her for 2 weeks regarding making sure we did not duplicate presents for the kids. Well, we did, and of course all my fault she says. If I did not force the issue last night after seeing both our wrapped gifts were the same size and shape and weight, then d10 would have been disappointed tomorrow. I told her what I was getting several days ago and she refused to tell me. Of course I am the one scrambling today to get another gift for d10 and sucked it up as I always do. I managed though and came through. W does not have to make the holidays difficult, but she is sure acting like she is…especially in front of the kids. She is so nasty. I accepted the dinner offer from this lady strictly for the ego and psyche balm only….and of course for the company and GAL. I can’t go further. I have had the chance and opportunities over the past months with others. I just can’t cross the line, even though W has. East of 401? You Canadian like me?
I understand about the line. I was just reading a post by sandi and she reminded someone that the S is done long before they leave and we should expect the worst always. Prepare for it, and protect yourself and children. I don't want a divorce, but I tell you, I have the papers ready to go if I need to. I want my H back, but not at the expense of me or my kids. It will get worse before it gets better and you will not recognize this woman because the one you knew left a long time ago.
