My d10 was saying good night to me and I told her I love her and I am sorry that things are not working out with her mom and I. She said "we have to help her find her way back to love daddy." I said "I am not sure that is possible." She said "yes, like in the bible about the lost sheep." I said "so you think your mom is the lost sheep?" she said "yes. but her love is too. It is lost in all the anger." My daughter was referring to Matthew 18:12-14. I knew she was looking at my Grandmother's old bible the other day flipping through it but had no idea she was really reading and absorbing it. Jesus' parable about the lost sheep is a piece of beauty. My daughter is beautiful.
