Wow don't get your tonsils out nearing when approaching 40
that's a ROUGH one I know. Of all the injuries and surgeries my h has had from accidents, or sports injuries, the tonsils hurt him the most BY FAR...and he's a macho guy.
That's what the pain meds are for. EVEN HE took them...and eventually he found that warm salt water gargles really do help. When your doctor says you can.

Oh man... I had my tonsils out when I was a kid. I remember it being a horrible experience! I'm hoping you recover quickly

My W has done more then I expected actually. I had no expectations. She brought the kids up to visit. Picked me up today and got me jellos and soft foods.
