I've been reading everyone elses posts. And can't think of anything constructive to say on your personal threads. So I will comment here. Everyone seems to be doing well. I think of you all when I do my daily maditation/prayer. Hopefully you all can feel the positive energy I attempt to send out! smile

We got an offer on our house. Now we are waiting patiently to hear back about our counter-offer. The people want us out by Christmas. For the right price I can make that happen. It doesn't seem like they thought through this plan.....

I was in real estate for awhile. Short closing date usually doesn't come with a bargan price. And all the other houses in my neighborhood have sold. Ours is currently the only one on the market. This bargaining stuff is not for sissies!

I'm going to go meditate now. I have remained amazingly calm lately. I am giving credit to the yoga and meditation.

Aloha,

Wendy

Wendy,
I hope that you are doing well. I'm glad you finally got an offer on your home. Christmas is only a few weeks away and I can't even imagine moving out in that short amount of time, but if anyone can do it, it will be you.

Good luck!

Omigosh, Wendy! So happy you got an offer. Yup, if they want you out by Christmas, then they're going to have to pay for that.

Thinking of you.

That would be a nice Xmas present, not having to live with your ex any longer!

It appears that the people who wanted us out by Christmas, think our counter-offer was unreasonable. So I don't know where they are moving at the end of the year, but probably not here!

On the plus side the non-paid work experience job finally called me for an interview. That will be tomorrow. And since one of their concerns was my age, I'm going to touch up these roots today!

I'm back to walking a couple times a week and lifting weights a couple times a week. I had slowed down on it, but really want to lose this last bit of weight. It is funny why, but some yoga poses just work better as you thin down!

Aloha Friends!

Wendy

Hey Friends!

Today I got fingerprinted....... And that was a good thing! The interview went well. So well that they are bringing me on ASAP! My favorite part of the interview was when I was asked how I felt about maybe having to travel to Guam or Samoa as part of the job. I smiled and answered that I used to live in Guam, and that wasn't a problem.

So this is all working out. Things are falling into place. Life goes on.

I spent Wednesday night and the next day out at Ka Olina with my BFF and my youngest granddaughter. What a blast! Got the call that the job was mine while I was there. Happy, Happy day! It is non-paid work experience. But it could very well lead to a nice job. Worst case I have current job experience on my resume. Which is a win-win!

Thinking of you all and continuing to keep you all in my prayers. Remember in Romper Room when the gal would look into her mirror and say "I see Jenny, and Sam, and Johnny and Mary...."? I feel like that as I go through all your names and stories and think of positive healing for us all.
