So funny you should say that, labug. I once worked on the advertising for a fellow who was trying to launch a Life Coaching business. His primary tennet was that we react far too often in our lives. His catch phrase was, "Don't react. Respond."
That phrase has always stuck with me. Coupling it with the concept of my old friend, "Be curious, not critical" and we/I should be able to actually communicate with anyone we meet.
