Oh, forgot to mention that this weekend, d13 and I were watching this show where a counselor was helping a family voice their issues with their blended family. D13 looked at me and said we need that with Dad. I asked her if she didn't feel that she could talk to him. She said she could but he never really hears her. I said that maybe she should write him a letter. Again she didn't think that would work.

She went on FB and wrote a short letter basically to her Dad. She said she didn't understand how her dad could leave her to raise someone else's kids. She mentioned plastering a smile on her face so her true feelings wouldn't show. Honestly, it was heart wrenching to read. His response? "thanks, keep talking to me. ". Seriously, a smilie face at the end. He is still in his fog and an idiot when it comes to his own kids.
