I think it was good for you to post what you did, man I remember how hard it was for me to post the blunt truth in my first few posts about the sitch history, especially my "bad" parts...not something I typically do. But you know, after I got used to it, it was freeing...
As far as the anniversary...maybe just get her a "not mushy" card, that usually isn't a problem for us guys, right? lol Maybe something along the lines of what you would get your sister or a friend.
