I don't think your panties are in a bunch! Maybe a minor slip. Not a big deal. Sounds like it could have been worse. Rule of thumb- internet goes off turn the modem/router off and unplug for at least 1 min. Then plug it back in. Give it 5 minutes to resync. If it doesn't work then restart computer and still no go, call the provider.
