We already know it's a non issue but I've never met a women that didn't like flowers. Just out of curiosity, what's that about?
Most women love flowers. With a WAW, it's considered pursuit, because she is not reciprocative of kind acts and guestures. It looks weak to them.

That can be true and as in Daddy's case, and quite the opposite in others' case.
If you NEVER or RARELY did it for a woman who wants it, a well placed/well chosen flower can help to save the day.
It's best to wait til you are getting some positives, some signs that a gesture of knowing what is really important, can push you forward a few steps.
Mostly -- men have no clue as to when is the appropriate time. Ask a woman. Ask a woman about the appropriate flower as well. If you're sending carnations, just forget it. It's usually roses of her favorite color, which is usually red. It's one or a dozen. Or a number equal to her birthday or anniversary. Or some other favorite, flower. If you don't know--for God's sake, don't guess. It's one rose or a dozen, or 3-12 dozen.
