The exchagnes have definitely positive. Yesterday before we all left to go trick or treating, she came to talk to me in the bedroom and laid down beside me. Now self control on not hugging / kissing her was tough, yet I did not make any overtures towards that.
As far as the my plans / her invite, well it's currently the same night, tomorrow. So I'll be doing my best to focus on having fun, enjoying music, and a pretty good friend's company. If by some chance, she chooses to change days, all the better. I have to admit I'm a bit torn, but realize the "counterintuitive" thing to do and follow through with my plans. Just sharing the thoughts / emotions. 8)
The IC isn't too weird. I say that because she was moving offices and needed to get her new one set up and said it would be a couple weeks.
I can definitely mention it to SIL, she is one of the few that follow my requests of backing off if they do more harm than good. 8)
