The choking down of food is quite the norm for mlcers. It's the guilt eating them up and they don't know how to handle themselves around us. Yep, typical mlc behavior with helping himself at other times too. Maybe it's time you introduce him to a cookbook. After all, he's got to learn how to cook if he's going to run away in the future.
