Well, let's put that one aside for now... Because there's a new development.

Today's episode of "Careful what you wish for" stars AlkalineThoughts!

I just recieved a text from W that I'll be needing to respond to pretty soon. Here's what it says:

"Hey, not to be annoying or all like "that", but I was wondering if you were still able to pay me for the couch? I budgeted my bills based off that you told me this past Friday, and I've got 2 credit card bills that are due tomorrow that I had planned on using that money for. If you wanna do half this week and half next week, that's cool, just wondering if I need to figure something else out. Hope you had a good weekend."

SO! The facts:

Yes, we had that conversation, and yes I plan on paying her for the couch (We agreed on $400, as it was a $900 couch that's barely a year old). I SHOULD have made it a point to stop by the bank this weekend to transfer the money into the account, but in all honesty, it slipped my mind.

So I'll do that on the way home today, and we'll be all "paid up" for everything I told her I'd pay her back for.

I need to respond to this text to let her know that (the fact that I'll be making the transfer to her, not the fact that we're all paid up!) and I want to balance out my response.

I'm thinking:

"W. Had a super busy weekend and didn't make it to the bank. I will transfer the $ on my way home tonight. Hope you're well."

So?
