Thanks, Wendy. I don't really have a set menu ... I used to when all the kids were still at home, and I'd invite other family and friends for Thanksgiving. But, being on this island is far way from them, and so it's just the three of us. We'll probably play the usual games, or watch some movies. I think this year will be roast leg of lamb, roast potatoes, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts. Some ice cream for dessert, or something along those lines.
I know the feeling of butt-lighting ... once there, I'm off. It's just getting out of the house, and finding something to do. Today, I met a new friend (single lady, also divorced) from the author's group I belong to, and we sat at a coffee shop discussing our writings and other stuff all day. Then I went to dinner at another friend's house.
It was a good day, yet I'm feeling somewhat down. Not sure why.
