Hi Kevin, I have to admit I agree with 7720 regarding the house. I understand that you wish to have your own place. But so much can happen if and when the divorce goes through that it seems to be too early to buy a house. Just imagine if you fall in love with another woman (yes, it may happen :-)) who lives far away and you find out that you would like to live closer to her. I'd rent a flat for the next few years until the dust has settled.
