Hey mate,

I'm with you on this. As you said, you've got two totally different approaches to consider and there is good to be said about either however, it feels to me that by putting it in your W's court first, your statement might end being seen as merely a reaction to what ever she says.
If you take control and bring it up when you are ready, 1st you won't have to adjust to any curve balls which might unexpectedly be coming from her, secondly, you statement ends up being a thought out statement, not a reaction to hers.
