MKB23, thanks again for your input I'm big on communication, so I have talked a lot to my kids about what their concerns are with staying at W's place. I think I talked about it a bit earlier, but D15 says that W's place just doesn't feel like home, it's not comfortable for her and it all just feels wierd. S9 says he's bored and can't get to sleep without me there (I traditionally put him to bed every night and lay on the floor next to his bed until he's asleep). I've encouraged both of them to keep up with the weekly visitations for a while to see if they get more comfortable, but I've also assured them that whatever they decide they want to do permanently that W and I will both support them in that. I've also told them that if they want to switch more often than a week then we can try that, but to give this a try for a while. S9 will stay with me tonight and spend the day with me tomorrow, then I get them both back for my week on Sunday. I have to admit I haven't been as lonely this week as I expected, it was bad the first couple of days but I'm already adjusting and seeing the kids after school each day helps a lot.
